Minutes of the 57th MTE meeting held on Thursday May 10th 2012

1. The drawings of the PS main magnet vacuum chambers have been provided to Sanja.

2. The option of installing shielding upstream of the dummy septum has been analysed: it provides a reduction of about a factor of 2.5 on the dose delivered to the MMU14. However, it increases the dose delivered to MMU15 by a factor 1.2. The dose delivered to the coils of the MMU15 is of the order of 1MGy: it should be evaluated by magnets experts (Action: TE-MSC).

3. Details for the tracking of particles have been discussed and a set of input file will be prepared (Action: DGS-RP and ABP).
