Minutes of the 78th MTE meeting held on Thursday June 13th 2013

Present :

S. Burger, S. Damjanovic, J. A. Ferreira Somoza, S. Gilardoni, M. Giovannozzi.

Excused :

C. Hernalsteens, M. Hourican, S. Mataguez.

 

1. BTV status:

   • The friction has been reduced and the appropriate spring has been ordered.

   • The situation of the drawings is not satisfactory: additional support is needed to ensure that the BTV will be ready on time. N. Jurado is now working full time on the project.

2. Shielding: 

   • The concrete blocks have been ordered. In the end, no shielding will be installed in SS75.

3. The list of the interventions and their length in case of repair has been reviewed by all experts and the computation of the dose delivered to personnel can proceed.

4. A draft report has been circulated: co-authors are expected to contribute their chapter(s) by mid-July (Action: All).
   Final editing will start soon afterwards (Action: Massimo)
